1) What are your shipping costs?
You can view an estimate of shipping costs by viewing your cart. However, final shipping costs will be displayed on the Invoice you see before confirming your order.

2) How can I view the status of my order?
Go to the Service page. This page lists all your orders. Click the date of the order you wish to view.

3) How will the products be shipped?
The products you purchase will be shipped in an insulated container, by the fastest means possible. Dry ice may be used to help keep the product frozen, especially during the summer months. Products will ship onTuesday so they arrive on Thursday. If Monday is a national holiday, products will ship on Wednesday.

4) How are the products packaged?
All the products, with the exception of the Bruner Brats, Dakota Dogs, and Smoked Strips and Sticks, are individually packaged. They have been cyrovaced and frozen. The cryovac process packages the meat with the absence of oxygen, and thus increases the shelf life of the product in the freezer and refrigerator.

5) Are the animals grass-fed?
All cattle are raised on grass and then finished on a traditional ration to ensure eating characteristics that are highly consistant.

6) What do you mean by "natural"?
The animals that enter into the Dakota Natural(R) meat program are raised without any growth hormone implants, nor are they fed any antibiotics or treated with antibiotics, 'Never-Ever'.  Animals that become sick and need to be treated are removed from the meat program.
